who i am.
Personal Profile
I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Fine Arts
from the School of Art in DAAP. Currently employed at Natorp’s Nursery
Outlet, I bring a strong work ethic and seasonal adaptability to a fast-paced
retail environment. Alongside my primary role, I pursue freelance art with a
specialty in highly detailed pet portraiture and plant illustration, combining
technical skill with a deep appreciation for living creatures and individualized
expression
statement.
My practice explores speculation on the origin of nature and things within it, specifically tropical plants. Their organic forms and patterns of growth are intricate and beyond my comprehension. By researching and illustrating them I can gain a deeper understanding of what they are and what their purpose may be in this world. Through my lens, there is a mutual relationship between myself, and the plants and I enjoy celebrating this through these schematic or blueprint-like illustrations.
